Prof. Dr. Ünsal SIĞRI (Vice Rector)

Prof. Dr. Ünsal Sığrı, faculty member and Vice Rector of OSTİM Technical University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, completed his undergraduate, master's, and doctoral studies in Business Administration and Management and Organization. He became an associate professor in the field of management and organization in 2010 and a professor in 2015. He completed his postdoctoral studies at the Rochester Bittner School of Business in the United States with a scholarship from the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and served as a faculty member at the Military Academy and Başkent University for many years. Prof. Sığrı, who has participated in important scientific projects in the Turkish Armed Forces and served as the manager of the European Union Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a period of time, has given seminars and participated in research projects at various international organizations such as NATO, the United Nations, the European Union, and the Council of Europe. He has numerous international and national books, articles, and papers in the fields of management and organizational behavior. Prof. Sığrı has contributed to the development of numerous professional businesspeople, mediators, conciliators, and SME consultants in Turkey.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Polat (Vice Rector)

Professor Mustafa Polat, a faculty member at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at OSTİM Technical University, received his bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the Military Academy in 1994, his master's degree in Business Administration from Yeditepe University in 2000, and his doctorate in Business Administration from Uludağ University in 2010. He was promoted to Associate Professor in the field of Management and Strategy in 2012 and to Professor in 2021. He has served as a faculty member, department chair, and division chair at the Military Academy for many years and was part of the team that conducted the Modern Tank feasibility study in 2000. Between 2016 and 2019, he was involved in the establishment of the National Defense University; he played an active role in the restructuring of the Land Forces Academy curriculum and, in this context, designed the first-ever undergraduate-level logistics program offered by the Turkish Armed Forces and the Land Forces Academy in 2019. He has taught various courses at Erzincan University, Atılım University, and Turkish Aeronautical Association University, and has given seminars at many civil and public institutions, particularly the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy. He has published articles, book chapters, and papers at the national and international levels in the fields of management, strategy, leadership, and organizational behavior. Since 2003, Professor Polat has been volunteering as a consultant at various educational institutions, striving to contribute to the professional and career development of young individuals. He is currently conducting research on the development of individual and organizational competencies in businesses as part of national development efforts.

Prof. Dr. İhsan ALP (Dekan)

He graduated from the Mathematics Department at Middle East Technical University. He completed his master's and doctoral degrees in Operations Research. He has served as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in the Statistics Department at Gazi University. He has taught courses in Statistics, Operations Research, Performance Evaluation, and Computer Programming. He has over eighty national and international scientific publications. According to Google Scholar, his h-index is 13, and his i10-index is 16. He has served as a manager and researcher in numerous projects with public and private institutions. His primary areas of expertise are Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Programming, and Performance Evaluation. To date, he has supervised 36 master's and doctoral theses. In 2025, he joined the academic staff of the MIS Department at Ostim Technical University.

Prof. Dr. Aziz AKGÜL

He graduated from the Business Administration Department of the Military Academy. He received his master's degree (MBA) from the Business Administration Department of Middle East Technical University and his master's degree (MS) from the US Naval Postgraduate School. He completed his doctorate at the Business Administration Department of Ankara University. He has served as the President of KOSGEB (Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Development and Support Administration), the Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey, and a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. He is the pioneer of the Turkish Grameen Microfinance Program, which provides microcredit to individuals facing financial difficulties, and also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Turkish Foundation for the Prevention of Waste. He has published 17 books and numerous articles on various topics, including Business Management, Operations Research, Statistics, Defense Industry, and Happytalism.

Prof. Dr. Elif AKAGÜN

Prof. Dr. Elif AKAGÜN began her undergraduate education at Bilkent University's Faculty of Business Administration and graduated with honors in 1996 with a double major in Business Administration and Economics. She completed her master's degree in international marketing at Rutgers University in the US and her doctorate in production and marketing at Gazi University. She began her academic career in 1999 at the Department of Business Administration at Çankaya University, where she served for a total of 23 years. Since October 2022, she has been serving as the Head of the Marketing Department at OSTİM Technical University. Additionally, she co-authored the book “Fundamentals of Modern Marketing” with Prof. Dr. Philip Kotler, titled "Fundamentals of Modern Marketing: Turkish Edition." Dr. Ergin has published 8 Turkish and 24 English articles in international peer-reviewed journals, 7 of which are indexed in SSCI. He has presented papers at over 30 international conferences and received various awards at these events.

Prof. Dr. Filiz ERSÖZ

Filiz Ersöz received her bachelor's degree in Statistics from Anadolu University in 1989, her master's degree in 1992 and her PhD degree in Biostatistics from Ankara University in 1998. She worked as a statistician at the Turkish Statistical Institute (1989-2001), an operations research specialist at the Turkish Land Forces Command (2001-2006) and a stochastic processes specialist at the Turkish Military Academy (2006-2012). In 2011, she received the title of associate professor in Quantitative Decision Methods. Between 2012 and 2023, he worked as a faculty member at Karabuk University, Department of Industrial Engineering; she served as the head of the department, Director of the Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences and served on various boards. She conducted postdoctoral research at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, University of Florida (2013, 2015) and taught part-time at Özyeğin University. During the period 2023-2024, she worked as a researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Group in Information Engineering at the University of Pisa. Hers research interests include statistics, data science, systems simulation and modeling, data mining, decision theory, machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Prof. Dr. Ufuk TÜREN (Vice Dean)

Dr. Ufuk Türen received his bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the Military Academy in 1995; his master's degree in Systems Engineering from Yeditepe University in 2000; completed a master's degree in Industrial Engineering at Marmara University in 2002, and graduated from the Engineering Management doctoral program at Marmara University in 2008. He has taught undergraduate and graduate-level courses at the Turkish Military Academy, the Institute of Defense Sciences, and various universities.

Associate Prof. Bahar ERDAL

Associate Professor Bahar Erdal is a faculty member in the Department of Economics at OSTIM Technical University. She received her bachelor's degree from the Department of Economics at Middle East Technical University. She completed her master's and doctoral degrees in Economics at the University of Delaware. The title of her doctoral thesis is “Real Exchange Rate Volatility and Investment in Manufacturing: Empirical Findings from European Countries and the United States.” She has served as an expert and director in various departments of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. As a part-time lecturer, he has taught “Macroeconomic Theory” and “Introduction to Economics-I” at Atılım University, “Money and Banking” and “Money and Financial Institutions” at Başkent University, and “Banking and Financial Institutions” and “International Financial System” at Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences. Her research areas include macroeconomics, money and banking, monetary policy, and international economics. She has published books and articles in national and international publishers and journals.

Associate Prof. Faruk GÜVEN

Dr. Faruk Güven graduated from Bilkent University with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and earned his PhD in Business Administration, becoming an associate professor in Marketing. He began his professional career in the fields of information and cybersecurity and has worked for leading multinational companies such as GE and PepsiCo. He has also gained experience in the telecommunications sector and participated in internet-related projects for United Nations commissions. He continues his academic work in the fields of Data Science, Digitalization, and Digital Marketing.

Associate Prof. Fikret KARTAL

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fikret KARTAL received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration in 1997. He began his professional career as a bank auditor and worked as an auditor and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Board at banks under the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) until 2013. In the private sector, he has served as audit chairman and board member at various companies, and abroad, he has served as a board member responsible for risk management, finance, banking operations, and auditing in the banking sector.

Continuing his academic studies parallel to his professional career, Kartal completed his master's degree in Economic Policy at Maltepe University in 2004 with a thesis titled “Independent Regulatory Institutions in Turkey” at Maltepe University, and in 2009, he completed his doctorate in Banking and Finance at Kadir Has University with his thesis titled “The Turkish Banking Sector in an Inflation Targeting Environment.” He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Finance in 2015 and has contributed to numerous national and international academic studies, primarily in finance and banking. Associate Prof. Hakan EREN

Hakan EREN graduated from the Systems Engineering undergraduate program and completed his master's and doctoral education in Technology Management. In 2011, he received training in Operational Research and Systems Analysis at the U.S. Army Logistics University. Between 1995 and 2021, during his public service, he held positions in R&D and defense project management, research methods, and multivariate statistical analysis, providing decision support and strategic planning. Between 2018 and 2021, he taught courses at the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy, Turkish War Academy, and Yıldırım Beyazıt University (Defense Technologies and Innovation Management, Management and Organization, Cyber Warfare and Information Security, Research Methods, etc.). Associate Prof. Hamide ÖZYÜREK

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamide Özyürek is a faculty member in the Head of Department of Business Administration at Ostim Technical University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Anadolu University, a Master’s degree from Ufuk University, and a Ph.D. from Kırıkkale University. Her doctoral dissertation is titled "Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing Method: Its Application in the Manufacturing Sector."

Dr. Özyürek became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2004 and gained professional experience as an accounting manager in various private companies. Since beginning her academic career in 2007, she has focused on cost accounting, managerial accounting, financial performance analysis, sustainability, blockchain technologies, and crypto assets. She was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2018.

She has published over 50 academic works, including articles in WoS- and Scopus-indexed journals, as well as books and book chapters. She has presented her research at numerous international conferences in countries such as Hong Kong, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, and France.

In 2013, she participated in a professional development project in Germany and Belgium titled "Developing Professional Skills on EU Tax Practices and Tax Audits." The following year, she conducted a university funded Scientific Research Project (BAP) in Kansas, USA, undertaking a comparative analysis of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) systems. As part of the Erasmus Teaching Mobility Program, she has delivered accounting and finance courses at several European institutions, including the Technical University of Košice in Slovakia, Vilnius University in Lithuania, and Warsaw Management University in Poland.

Her academic contributions, international collaborations, and dedication to teaching and research continue to shape her career in accounting, finance, and emerging technologies in business.

Associate Prof. Handan ÖZDEMİR

Assoc. Prof. Handan ÖZDEMİR is a faculty member at the Marketing Department of OSTİM Technical University and an Associate Professor of Marketing. She completed her education with a bachelor's degree from the Department of Business Administration at Çankaya University, a master's degree from the Department of Production Management and Marketing at the Institute of Social Sciences at Gazi University, and a doctorate from the General Business Doctorate Program at the Institute of Social Sciences at Gazi University. During her academic career, she worked full-time at Çankaya University for 22 years and taught marketing courses as a visiting faculty member in France, Lithuania, and Warsaw as part of the Erasmus+ mobility program. She has received training and certifications in basic and advanced SPSS, NVIVO, and LISREL programs in the field of marketing research, and has completed training in “Consumption Theory: Research Methodology” at the Royal Holloway, University of London-Consumer Culture Theorizing PhD School. Handan Özdemir has numerous national and international scientific articles, books, book chapters, and conference papers in the fields of consumer behavior, advertising, and branding. She has received various awards at international conferences. In 2024, she was selected as a member of the Kotler Impact Türkiye Advisory Board.

Associate Prof. Rıza BAYRAK

Rıza Bayrak graduated from the Systems Engineering Program. He then obtained a master's degree in Human Resources Management and a doctorate in Economics. Throughout his public service career, he has served as Project Manager on many important defense industry projects. He also served as Human Resources Manager and Education and Training Department Project Manager within the Resolute Support Mission TAAC-C/NATO in Afghanistan. Between 2017 and 2018, he taught Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Introduction to Economics, and Turkish Economy at the National Defense University. In 2019, he conducted research on “The Economics of Terrorism” as a research fellow at the NATO Center of Excellence for the Defense Against Terrorism (NATO COE-DAT). Rıza Bayrak has published numerous articles in the fields of Employment/Youth Unemployment, Growth, Development, and Defense Economics. He has also specialized in the productivity and efficiency of various sectors that produce goods and services.

Associate Prof. Tuğrul OĞUZHAN

Dr. Tuğrul OĞUZHAN graduated from the Department of Systems Engineering at the Military Academy in 1996. In 2002, Dr. Oğuzhan completed his master's degree in Defense Systems and Logistics Management at the Institute of Social Sciences at Yeditepe University. He completed his doctoral education in 2015 at the Institute of Defense Sciences at the Military Academy in the Defense Management program. Dr. Oğuzhan served in various positions in the Turkish Armed Forces between 1996 and 2020. Between 2007 and 2016, he worked as a lecturer in the Department of Business Administration, Management Organization at the Land Forces Academy. During this period, he taught courses in Computer Programming, Management and Organization Management Information Systems, General Business, International Business Administration, Contemporary Approaches in Management, Research Methods in Social Sciences, Customer Relationship Management (Başkent University, 2015-2016), Organizational Behavior, Introduction to Defense Management, Defense Management (Planning and Philosophy), and Logistics Management. He served as NATO ISAF RCC Liaison Officer in 2009-2010 and NATO KFOR J3 CONOPS Plan Officer in 2014-2015. Assistant Professor Abdurrahim HOCAGİL

Dr. Abdurrahim Hocagil received his bachelor's degree in 2005 from Ege University's Department of Chemistry, his master's degree in 2010 from Cambridge College in Business Management, and his doctorate in 2020 from the Indiana Institute of Technology in Organizational Management as part of the Global Leadership Program. Dr. Hocagil has over 10 years of management experience at various organizations in the United States and Canada.

In 2022, he began working as a contract lecturer at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada, and Conestoga College in Kitchener, where he has been teaching various undergraduate and graduate level courses since then. These courses include Management and Leadership Skills, Introduction to Business, Human Resource Management, Recruitment and Selection, Decision Making for Managers (MBA), Organizational Behavior (MBA), Leadership and Team Building, and Organizational Behavior II (Organizational Theory).

Dr. Hocagil began working as a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at OSTİM Technical University in September 2023, and joined the faculty full-time as an assistant professor in January 2025.

His research areas include Global Leadership and Followership, Management, Organizational Behavior, Internalization, and Multinational Organizations. He has served as president of the Followership Member Community of the International Leadership Association (ILA) and has also held a position on the coordinating committee of the “Teaching Followers Courage” organization, which provides support for the application of leadership and followership in research, curricula, workshops, and organizational cultures. Dr. Hocagil volunteered on the organizing team for the first two Annual Global Followership Conferences held in Canada and the US, and is chairing the research sessions for the fourth conference to be held in 2025.

Assistant Professor Büşra AĞAN ÇELİK

Büşra Ağan graduated from Dokuz Eylül University's Department of Economics in 2014. She completed her master's degree in the same university's Department of Economics in 2017. In 2023, she received her PhD from the Department of Economics at Eastern Mediterranean University with her thesis titled “The Interconnectedness of Commodity Markets: A Dynamic Study on Market Collapses and the Effects of Sensitivities” and worked as a research assistant throughout her education. Additionally, she completed her second PhD at the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Business Administration at Dokuz Eylül University with her thesis titled “An Empirical Analysis of the Effects of Green Technology Diffusion and Climate Change Adaptation on Green Growth.”

Her areas of expertise include energy and environmental economics, technology and innovation, behavioral economics, commodity markets, and financial markets. She has published books, book chapters, and national and international academic publications in these fields.

Assistant Professor Cemalettin Öcal FİDANBOY

Dr. C. Öcal Fidanboy received his bachelor's degree from Ankara University's Department of Chemical Engineering, his first master's degree from Hacettepe University's Department of Chemical Engineering, and his second master's degree from Çankaya University's Department of Computer Engineering. He completed his doctoral education in Management Organization at Başkent University. With over 20 years of experience in the IT sector, Dr. Fidanboy has served as a manager, chief consultant, and trainer in the establishment and certification processes of management systems for many institutions and organizations operating in the IT and defense sectors throughout his professional career. Between 2002 and 2012, he worked as a Software Quality Manager (Senior Researcher) at TÜBİTAK - BİLGEM on several important IT/defense projects and national/international management system certification projects. Over the next two years, he served as a management consultant on software management system establishment projects and other international certification projects at Türk Telekom Technology Directorate. He has authored numerous articles and papers on various topics, including management/strategy development, organizational behavior, quality management, and R&D management. He has taught part-time at Başkent, Çankaya, and TED Universities.

Assistant Professor Egehan ÖZKAN ALAKAŞ

Egehan Özkan Alakaş completed his undergraduate education at Atılım University's Department of Business Administration and his master's and doctoral education at Gazi University's Department of Business Administration and Department of Health Management. She has held many administrative positions, including Director of Student Affairs and Director of the Continuing Education and Research Center. She has taught courses in areas such as E-Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Entrepreneurship. Her research areas include Strategic Management, Health Management, Organizational Behavior, and Organizational Culture. She began her academic career in 2018 and is currently serving as a faculty member.

Assistant Professor Esra KUMAŞ

Esra Kumaş completed her bachelor's and master's degrees in Industrial Engineering and received her doctorate from Gazi University's Management Information Systems department. She has worked as an independent external expert at institutions such as the Ministry of Development, the Ministry of Interior, TÜBİTAK, and the Istanbul Development Agency, and has served as an evaluator on numerous projects. She conducts research on Industry 4.0, Digital Transformation, and Maturity Models. She teaches courses in Decision Support Analysis, Database Management, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Data Analysis, and Machine Learning. She is currently a faculty member in the Management Information Systems Department at OSTIM Technical University.

Assistant Professor Güler MANİSALI DARMAN

Dr. Güler Manisalı Darman received her bachelor's degree from the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Middle East Technical University; her master's degree from the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Political Sciences; and her doctorate from the Department of Accounting and Finance, Başkent University. Between 1980 and 2005, she held senior positions at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and in the private sector. In 2004, her book titled “Corporate Governance Worldwide” was published by the ICC and made available for sale worldwide. In 2008, her second book, titled “Corporate Governance Understanding in Global Economies and Türkiye,” was published by the TOBB ICC Türkiye National Committee; in 2009, his electronic book titled “Handbook on Institutionalization in Family Businesses” was published by CGS Center; and in 2010, her book titled “Transparency and Accountability in Corporate Governance” was published by TÜRMOB. In 2015 and 2016, she co-authored the Corporate Governance License Exam booklet for the Capital Markets Board (SPK) with SPK experts. She has taught Corporate Governance courses at the Middle East Technical University Faculty of Business Administration, İzmir Economy University, and Bilkent University Executive MBA Programs. In 2007, she founded the CGS Center for Corporate Governance and Sustainability and continues her work on institutionalization, corporate governance, and corporate finance.

Assistant Professor Hakan TARTAN

He was born in Ankara in 1961. After graduating from Tevfik Fikret High School, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at 9 Eylül University. He completed his master's and doctoral studies at the same university. For many years, he worked as a reporter, manager, and columnist for the Milliyet, Sabah, and Hürriyet newspapers. He served as Minister of Labor and Social Security in the 56th Republic Government. He has held senior management positions in large companies and served as an academic at various universities. In the 2009 local elections, he was elected Mayor of Konak District, the central district of İzmir. He continues his work in the field of social policy.

Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Hasibe AYSAN

Dr. Hasibe Aysan is a distinguished academic and professional with a remarkable career in business, international trade, and higher education. Dr. Aysan graduated from Marmara University's English Language Business Administration program in 2003, ranking first in her department and faculty, thus laying the foundation for an extraordinary academic journey. Between 2003 and 2012, Dr. Aysan built a solid career in the banking sector, specializing in areas such as international trade, foreign exchange, country credits, letters of guarantee, and domestic credits. During this period, she also completed her master's degree in Business Administration in Istanbul, demonstrating her commitment to both professional and academic growth. In 2019, Dr. Aysan received his PhD in Management and Organization from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Her doctoral research reflects her determination to develop a deep understanding of complex organizational dynamics, focusing on organizational theories, legitimacy processes, professional distinctions, and the history of the business world. Currently, Dr. Aysan serves as a faculty member and Department Chair in the Department of International Trade and Finance at Ostim Technical University. Her research areas include management and organization, strategic management, and technology and innovation management. A strong advocate for international collaboration, Dr. Aysan actively participates as a coordinator in Erasmus and EU projects and maintains close collaborations with international universities. Dr. Aysan has contributed to the committees of Star Accreditation Economic Enterprise since 2021 and became an accreditation process evaluator in 2024. Beyond her professional roles, Dr. Aysan, who is a mother of two children, balances her career with personal interests such as table tennis and embroidery. Looking ahead, she aims to expand her international contributions through impactful publications, collaborative projects, and innovative research.

Assistant Professor Jorge TAVARES BORGES

Dr. Jorge Tavares Borges is an economist and academic with a strong background in research, teaching, and leadership. He is the founder and vice president of the Cape Verde Young Economists Association, which was established to promote dialogue in the region and support new academics. He completed his undergraduate education at the Department of Economics at the University of Cabo Verde, and obtained his master's and doctoral degrees in Economics with a focus on East Asian Studies at Yamaguchi University in Japan.

He has taught courses ranging from Macroeconomics to Innovation Management at various universities in Turkey and Japan. His research interests include environmental policy, carbon taxation, and the economic impact of tourism and has been published in reputable academic journals. He has also presented at international conferences in Japan and Turkey.

Assistant Professor Levent EMMUNGİL

In 2002, he received his bachelor's degree in Computer Education and Instructional Technology from Middle East Technical University (METU). He then completed his master's and doctorate degrees in science and mathematics at METU. He wrote Turkey's first official electronic book “Computer Hardware”. He specializes in areas such as efficient use of IT resources, reducing technology expenditures and internet-supported education.​

Assistant Professor Melike AKTAŞ BOZKURT

Dr. Melike Aktaş Bozkurt graduated from Bilkent University, Department of International Relations in 1998. She completed her master's and PhD degrees in Accounting and Finance at Başkent University. Assistant Professor Mine Berra DOĞANER

Berra Doğaner holds a Bachelor's degree from Marmara University, Faculty of Business Administration and an MBA and Master's degree from Ankara University, Department of Business Administration and Finance. Ms. Doğaner began her 35-year capital markets career at the Capital Markets Board of Turkey, where she served for 8 years. She then moved to the private sector and held senior positions such as General Manager and Board Member in leading investment institutions. Between 2005 and 2018, she served as General Manager and Board Member at Türk Yatırım. The Group operates in Türkiye, Northern Cyprus and the UK. She is currently an independent board member of Peker Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı and Piramit Menkul Kıymetler A.Ş., which have real estate investments in Türkiye, the UK and Germany, and a member of the Economic Advisory Board of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.

Assistant Professor Ozan GÜLHAN

Ozan GÜLHAN, Ph.D., is a faculty member at OSTİM Technical University, Department of Management Information Systems. He has been involved in the management and organization of various projects carried out by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank on behalf of the government. He has also served on various committees related to the regulation of the financial sector within the framework of international standards and practices and has worked as a senior manager in national and international financial institutions. Following his academic studies abroad as a scholarship student, he gave lectures and seminars on finance and banking for public and private sector employees. He has many national and international academic studies on international auditing and accounting standards, banking, risk management, European Union, corporate governance, money laundering and prevention of financing of terrorism.

Assistant Professor Önder HALİSDEMİR

He holds a master's degree in Capital Markets and a PhD in Banking from Marmara University. He attended various training programs at the Wharton School and New York University. Mr. Halisdemir, who grew up as an apprentice in markets such as Sultanhamam and Grand Bazaar, known as the school of trade and life, was appointed as the general manager of a bank in the 12th year of his professional career, which started in 1995. Having established the first digital bank and the largest investment bank in our country, Halisdemir has been involved in many international innovations, received awards and pioneered transformation in many areas throughout his career. Halisdemir is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Finance Executives Foundation of Türkiye, the most established non-profit organization in the finance sector.

Öykü Yücel received her bachelor's degree from Bilkent University, Department of Business Administration and her master's degree from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Business Administration with a thesis on Capital Asset Pricing Models. Her research interests include green energy, renewable energy applications, electricity market pricing, ESG investments, sustainable finance and economic and financial aspects of smart city transformations.

Assistant Professor Sinan BABAÇOĞLU

Sinan BABAÇOGLU, a 1996 graduate of the Land War College Systems Engineering undergraduate program, completed his master's degree in Operations Research (Modeling and Simulation) in 2003 and his PhD in Technology Management in 2015. Between 2007 and 2010, he was a member of the NATO Research and Development Organization System Concepts and Integration Technology Panel. He conducts academic studies in the fields of Technology/Innovation/R&D Management, Strategic Planning, Project/Program/Risk Management.

Assistant Professor Tacettin Sercan PEKİN

Dr. Pekin was born in Ankara in 1985. In 2007, he graduated from Bilkent University, Department of Computer Engineering and completed his master's degree in the same department in 2010. He also received a second bachelor's degree from Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Business Administration in 2013. Finally, he completed his PhD studies at Middle East Technical University, Department of Information Systems in 2017. Since 2006, he has been working as a software developer. Over time, he worked as a technical lead, designer, technical manager and finally founded his own software company as an entrepreneur. In addition to his engineering career, he has been working in the academic field since 2007 and has worked as a full-time research assistant at Bilkent University and has also been a visiting lecturer at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Computer Engineering and Management Information Systems departments and Gazi University Industrial Engineering department. He is currently working in the Department of Management Information Systems at OSTIM Technical University. Dr. Pekin's research and expertise areas include Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Games, Virtual-Augmented Reality and Mobile Application Development.

Assistant Professor Zehra FIRAT

Zehra Fırat graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Finance, Department of Finance in 2004. In 2008, she received her CPA degree and worked at Türk Telekom AŞ. between 2010 and 2012. While she was managing a private enterprise of her own, she started her academic career with a master's degree in business administration at Gelişim University. She received her PhD degree in 2020 with her studies on internal audit at the same university. She has studies on issues such as measuring the performance of internal audit and raising awareness. She serves on various international congress organizing and referee boards.

Assistant Professor Zeynep BAYSAL

She graduated from Yeditepe University, Department of Business Administration in English in 2013. She completed her master's degree at Anadolu University, Department of International Business Administration and her master's thesis was on virtual organizations. She completed her PhD in Anadolu University, Department of Business Administration, Management and Organization program and worked on institutional logics and professional management in her doctoral thesis. She has several publications on management and organization, family businesses, and technology and innovation management. Her research interests include organizational theories, virtual organizations, family businesses, strategic management, and technology and innovation management.

Res. Assist. Dr. Şeyda OK

Dr. Şeyda Ok graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 2016 with Honorary Degree. Immediately after her undergraduate graduation, she started her master's degree at Gazi University, Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Marketing in 2016. During her education, she worked as an assistant specialist in the financial affairs department of the logistics sector. In 2019, she completed her graduate thesis on consumers' perceptions of brand personality. In 2020, he started his education in Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Department of Business Administration PhD program and completed it in 2024. Since April 2021, she has been working as a research assistant at OSTİM Technical University Marketing Department. She has national and international articles, book chapters and papers on brand, digital marketing and consumer behavior.

Huzeyfe Erkam Candan completed his undergraduate education at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Finance and his master's degree at Mülkiye. He is currently continuing his doctoral studies at Mülkiye. She has worked as a volunteer coordinator in training programs and organizations on economic integrations. He is interested in international foreign policy, international economic policies, financial markets, development economics, monetary policy and policy instruments. In particular, he researches the effects of economic integration on development in Turkey. He continues his academic studies on the industrial policies of the first period of the Republic.

Res. Assist. Syed Ibrahim Bilal MAJID

In 2019, he received a Bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Karachi. Afterwards, he founded and managed his own business for 2 years. In 2025, he successfully graduated from OSTİM Technical University Institute of Social Sciences by defending his thesis titled “Factors Affecting Environmental Sensitivity” focusing on key issues related to sustainability.

She is currently working as a Research Assistant at OSTIM Technical University Institute of Social Sciences. Her duties include supporting academic projects and conducting research.

His academic interests include sustainability, digital transformation, digital skills, systems thinking, family businesses and organizational effectiveness.

Kübra Ceren Babaoğlu is a Research Assistant at OSTİM Technical University, Department of Marketing. During her education, she took courses such as Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research and International Marketing. These courses formed the basis of her interest in Consumer Behavior and Social Psychology. Qais Nabi graduated from National Defense University, Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Department of International Relations in 2022. In 2023, he started his MBA program at OSTİM Technical University, Department of Business Administration and successfully completed it in 2025. His master's thesis focused on the intersection of leadership and technology and was titled: “The Mediating Role of Technology-Induced Unemployment Anxiety in the Impact of Digital Leadership on Organizational Technological Entrepreneurship”.

She is currently working as a Research Assistant at OSTIM Technical University, Department of Management Information Systems. In this role, she supports academic projects, contributes to departmental research and actively participates in educational and administrative activities.

Res. Assist. Seray KAĞITÇI CANDAN

Seray Kağıtçı Candan graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Trade in 2018. Immediately after her undergraduate graduation, she started her master's degree at Ankara University, Department of Business Administration in 2018. Seray Kağıtçı Candan, who worked in the fields of export and international marketing in the foreign trade departments of various companies during her education, is the author of "Analysis of Micro Factors Determining the Exporter Characteristics of SMEs: A Mixed Method Research on OSTİM Clusters", Seray Kağıtçı Candan started her doctoral studies at Ankara University, Department of Business Administration in 2021. Kağıtçı Candan, who has worked in many national and international projects, has been working on the internationalization of SMEs, entrepreneurial marketing, clusters and consumer behavior. Currently working as a Research Assistant at the Department of International Trade and Finance at OSTİM Technical University, Kağıtçı Candan is also an Assistant Expert at the Entrepreneurship and Leadership Application and Research Center. She is also a member of the Turkey Advisory Board of Kotler Impact, one of the leading international platforms in her field.

She graduated from Koç University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics (English) in 2018. She completed her double major in Business Administration in the same year. During her undergraduate education, she was awarded the Vehbi Koç Honor Award twice. In 2019, she started the Integrated PhD program in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations at Ankara University. She is currently at the thesis stage. She is currently working on her thesis on development, economy and social policies in the context of ecological crisis. Her research interests are: precarious employment, social inequalities, sustainable development.

Zeynep Aslancan graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 2021. Following her graduation, she completed her legal internship and started her career as a lawyer; she provided litigation and legal consultancy services in various areas of private law.

In 2022, she started her master's degree in Private Law at Ankara Social Sciences University and is currently working on her thesis on the implementation of family constitutions in family businesses.

Her academic interests include commercial law, corporate law and family businesses.
