Minor Program
A "Minor Program" refers to an academic program that allows undergraduate students—who meet specific requirements—to gain knowledge in an additional field of study, either within their own faculty or another faculty, alongside their primary major, upon application and acceptance.
Students may apply to a minor program no earlier than the beginning of the third semester and no later than the beginning of the sixth semester of their undergraduate major.
The Minor Program consists of 60 ECTS credits.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to apply for a minor program, students must:
- Have successfully completed all courses required in the undergraduate major program up to the semester of application.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 65 out of 100 (or 2.25 out of 4.00).
Minor Program Coordinators
A “Minor Program Coordinator” is assigned by the head of the relevant department to assist students in selecting the courses they will take in the minor program and planning the semesters in which these courses will be completed. The coordinator also communicates with the student’s major program advisor to ensure academic alignment and proper guidance.
Tuition Fees
Students enrolled in the minor program are not required to pay any tuition fees for courses taken within the standard 4-year duration of their undergraduate studies and within regular academic terms. However, for courses taken beyond the 4-year period or during Summer School, tuition fees determined by the Board of Trustees will apply.
